"This Italian photographer (born in 1947) works with an excess of light, which makes her photographs diaphanous, dazzling, almost entirely white: you have to stand in front of them for a long time, your mind both concentrated and floating, to see a subject emerge, a face, a body or a geometric shape, which, little by little, emerges from the depths of this sparkling whiteness: the extreme light annihilates the representation. This catalogue of his exhibition at the Musée Fesch in Ajaccio compares his photographs with the museum's classical paintings, which are then viewed in a different light," says Marc Lenot.
